gabor boda: What article? In what context did the author mention the Winstar financing? In my mind, there should be no connection. I would like to know, however, why the Winstar financing was mentioned in an article concerning an SEC investigation into income recognition accounting procedures. It seems that it is popular right now for business journalists to jump on the telecom equipment providers for their providing vendor financings, some of which have defaulted. I sincerely doubt Winstar will ever be one of those defaulting customers.
