Gottfried, re Malkiel's "A random walk down Wallstreet", so what do we do, throw darts at the stock pages in the Mercury News? Does the use of the word random in the title imply stock movements to him follow a random walk pattern only? I ought to look at that book myself. Do you recommend it? Oh, you said after your signature that you do. AMAT and now LSI CEOs getting maudlin...doesn't look good. Cisco? Looks like Greenspan put a forearm shiver on tech business all right. Strange thing about the Fed, where's the accountability? A corporate CEO, if he lets his company down, can get fired. A prez can get impeached. But the worst Greenspan gets is Larry Kudlow's criticism on CNBC. Tony
