Fyo - Re: "It just seems to me that if Intel doesn't pursue an integrated strategy with its XScale core, the "Timna2" might be the better choice for many IAs, like iPaq etc." The constraints for PDAs - such as iPAQ - are driven by ULTRA low power - afforded by ARM/Xscale technology. In fact - at one time - Intel was considering using xSCALE technology to "emulate" the x86 instruction set - a la Transmeta/Code Morphing - to achieve these goals. As for the new "Timna2" as you call it - who knows - maybe it will be Xscale based. Paul
