Hi Joe, just catching up with some posts as I've been down with a heavy cold, bronchitis, or some damn thing. You know, the kind that makes the trip from the bed to the refrigerator feel like the last 100 feet on Mt. Everest.
Saw the listing for Stanley, but didn't think twice while fighting the fever. A friend of mine caught Levon and the Barnburners in SF, said it was pretty much good old blues, not Band tunes. Said Levon was pretty wraithy, but his daughter could belt them. Another daughter action who makes the rounds out here is Shana Morrison, Van's young 'un.
