mention whatsoever about permission for Lexar to manufacture MMC or SDMC


Actually, Aus, I think it is reasonable to assume from this line in the settlement press release:

Lexar shall enter into a 4% royalty-bearing license agreement for certain Lexar products that may use the `987 Patent beyond March 31, 2001.


that LEXR is paying 4% royalties on SD and MMC. After all, they just made this settlement a few months ago and last CC Eli said it is their position that '987 applies to SD and MMC.
