Interesting wmchen's piece on roads in the north eh ... inevitable eventually, and they will change some economics of deposits there.

Btw, in grinding on about how technology is an integral part of all sectors i had no intention of negating your point here at all, it is a good one imho, there most certainly are distinct sectors and the rotation between them has been going on for some time ..... the dot.bombs have been dead for some time now, a lot of money lost by some, gained by others, but overall in tech there was considerable net wealth produced i should think, and the process continues - there will be tech winners continually as long as the species survives ... but the sectors perceived as 'old' do seem to be safer and surer bets, undervalued as they are ... i know you don't like golds, but they are where i come from, and i can't help but be attracted at these prices especially when they have nearterm exploration upside ... got to learn more about the oilpatch though, i dabble in it but not well .... cheers
