Mike -Thanks, I never thought about the SWZ doing well in wartime.
Plus, the discount would become a premium.
I'll start with a 1/3rd of a position and buy on weakness
If they won't give me my money back, I'll go there and eat up their swiss cheese & chocolates <g>
Is there any good Swiss banks to invest in?
Would Swiss pharma's also do well in wartime?

Do you keep a portion of your funds in catastrophe stocks?

I sold some Freeport Pref B a few days ago, and then bought ASA and NEM.
Also, since I'm under-weighted in catastrophe stocks, I wrote some uncovered puts on gold stocks.
OK, if they drop any more, I'll have quite a few. I can live with that at these prices and premiums.

I've positioned my portfolio for a downturn that accelerates in Apr-May till June-July.
nasdaq Under 2000 (and a great buy at 1800). Dow 9000, S&P 1100.
Is this in line with your thinking? Or, am I too low?
