Don't you dare be jealous! I was blessed with a great range, but I couldn't stand the sound of myself singing bel canto, so stopped lessons after a year. My teacher wasn't happy, but I'd much rather sing folk and sacred music. I haven't sung much recently, though I join the church choir in Handel's Messiah at Christmas. The problem is that our church sanctuary is small and I blast the other singers because I get too caught up in the music. I love to sing, though. It's also a great way to embarrass my kids. :)
