Softechie, I do recall the bear market of the 70's. It was absolutely NOTHING like what we have seen in 2000/2001. There are few parallels. If YOU remembered the last real extended bear market, you would know this. But you were not even close to born yet. And you were still in a high chair during the "crash" of 87. . . which I also remember. . . and which also wasn't a crash. Look at your post! This is why you are a disruption. It is NOT the message you bring. Not by a longshot. Many here are bearish. . . many if not most play short as well as long. . . you are preaching to the choir! But it is your admitted hatred for this thread that has everyone so upset at you. And your contempt for the HOME thread is evident in EVERY SINGLE POST YOU MAKE here!! You dislike this thread, because we see through your facade. We see that EVERY post you make HYPES YOUR PERSONAL POSITION!! . . They always have. Before you joined Silicon Investor, as "Me_Xman" on Yahoo and as "Me_Xman" on Raging Bull shamelessly hyping your internet stocks. And your COUNTLESS hypes of GENU, Conseco, Verizon, right here on Silicon Investor. Still don't get it? Let me give you some excerpts of your last post. I assume . . .Watch and learn . . More layoffs . . .Watch. . . Like Fleckenstein. . .Much more slowdown than you think. . . Remember . . . Your contempt shows through your every post here. We don't need your incessant whining about your position. . And we don't have to continue to listen to a 10th grader attempt to bore everyone here with yesterday's regurgitated news.
