Glenn: I think a thorough vetting of ARBA's capabilities is a smart idea -- AGIL is their first real step into SCM as far as I can tell -- and a good step it is -- but they have oh so far to go to catch up with where I2 is already.

GST,

This is becoming funny because I am starting to suspect we have agreed all along. I2 is the market leader in SCM. I surely do not want to argue against that. I would say that is a fact. I2 does not have as good a market suite as does Ariba which I suppose was the cause of the alliance of Ariba, I2 and IBM. We know or at least suapect that will break up and that may be happening now it is just not official.

My premise is that Ariba's network will give them a marketing advantage if they find a way to impliment SCM as well as I2. Presently, I2s SCM is good but there are not enough players on their network platform so I chose Ariba. If you and I continue this, I may sell 50% of my Ariba and place those proceeds into I2<G>
