Chuck Clough left Merrill Lynch 12/99. He had been bearish. Since, he made money shorting amzn. Blodgett goes on a limb with an accumulate. If he said sell, he might leave like Clough did. I think amzn is risky. I tried to short it when it was much higher. I bought it 12/29/00. I may lose money. I think I could make a lot. Amzn is the leader in its space and most likely to survive and prosper. I regret it increased its costs with warehouses, buys inventory, doesn't offer lowest price and its growth has slowed. I wanted it to be huge and hugely profitable in absolute terms.
