We will be updating from now on a Market Gems Most ACTIVE LIST on SI that have have been watch list plays recently. Some of the most active will be: CHKP, VRSN, BRCM, BRCD, GLW, BEAS, JNPR, SDLI, VRTS, MUSE, MERQ, JDSU, NTAP, AMGN, MSFT, QCOM. These stocks are among the highest flyers and bellwhethers and often are the predicators of moves in other tech stocks. They are also among the most frequent e-mail queries.

..so you know where they are at this point in time and so far they have been continuing shorts. There is no reason to post them in the watch list over and over as their status is unchanged. We will alert you when the status does change and meanwhile we will be presenting others in the watch list.

BEAS hhttp://www.marketgems.com/BEAS_pivot60_onehalf.gif
as dropped even more from our original pivot point but did show some resiliency and strength on Friday, we will update if there is a real change of trend.
marketgems.com QLGC might be showing some signs of stalling and reversing the downtrend.

VRTS.. marketgems.com still deteriorating since we posted he chart and nothing has changed in its trend.

AVNX is still a short play and nothing has changed yet either

MSFT one of the stronger picks was relatively strong, but now MSFT is still a continuing short and has taken out a triple bottom

AMCC is still a short especially after the breakdown from the lower bollinger band. Here again there is no change in the status of AMCC

We've been short both MUSE and MERQ and here is the chart from where it began. MUSE 's breakdown (we had 4 breakdowns this is the last)hasn't changed and MUSE is still in short mode.

TXCC was called short again at its failure to hold support on the 20 day moving average and is still a short.

Since then MERQ has continued to be shorted.

Still plan on shorting VRSN, SDLI and JNPR continuing short (puts)on Monday. SDLI goal is 125, JNPR hit the bottom of support level and is free fall along with SDLI.

These are all continuing so we wait and see what happens but basically nothing has changed and these weak stocks are continuing to take out every support level.

VRSN latest chart with the deterioration nothing has changed and VRSN is still a short play

From now on we will update their positions at every point in time, so gemmers can know if anything has changed in their patterns that might alert us to a change of trend and a possible buy. We call these in the forum "continuing shorts"..
