Palau--right again! What I find interesting is that almost every Democrat I know admits that Clinton's behavior in the WH was wrong, but I know of virtually no Republican who has ever condemned Reagan for egregiously breaking the law in the Iran/Contra affair, or believe that there was anything wrong with ol' deficit fighter never submitting a balanced budget to Congress.

And it looks from the story that the decision to pay taxes may have been prompted by an IRS examination.

And of course that doesn't excuse the Clinton's behavior, from taking stuff that was intended for the White House, to the Rich pardon. The point is that the world, and certainly the world of politics, isn't as black and white as you and folks like Tommy the Swami would like it to be.
