The NIH has studied the cosmetic/gelatin issue with BSE and they've concluded that the claim is not reality-based. While they are circumspect, I'll assure you, it seems to be just another urban legend. I got trapped in one of those a couple of weeks ago. I heard on CNBC from a credible source that server farms consume 25% of the energy in Silicon Valley, in particular, the server farms of Exodus. I passed this along as fact on one of my threads and was promptly told to go sit in the corner. I'd just been duped by an energy industry spokesman with an agenda and no compunction to use the truth. The California energy situation is similar to BSE in that the key players often see their best interests being served by disinforming the public at large. JMO, Ray
