Has anyone been paying attention to the new Sybase television ads? They are selling their enterprise portal by suggesting that you need their (Sybase's) software to provide your employees access to "Oracle, Microsoft" and hundreds of other applications. Now that's progress! A company that was once viewed as a major threat to your core (database) business is reduced to trying to enable use of the product that almost put them out of business. Is it just in political campaigns that you're never supposed to mention the other guy's name? -Michael
