I plan on buying puts (in SDLI) on Tuesday. Counting on a little run up on Monday and Tuesday. I go long and short as needed and don't fall in love with a stock

If you really wanted to buy puts, would you not be better off in JDSU since SDLI will stop trading sometime this. You will end up waiting for your JDSU puts as the SDLI puts will be no longer trading.

IMHO, you might have missed your chance...scmr, cien, emlx, glw all talked negatively today.
Now you would have hope that JDSU makes negative post merger guidance comments.
