Well, i remember before tech companies were blaming Europe for their slow downs. I haven't heard much of a strong Europe for a long time, only a few pc makers that possibly could have been stealing market share are bragging about a strong Europe. I don't know a lot about the people in Europe, but they probably aren't hooked on the upgrade cycles as much as the people in the U.S. are, just a guess. My basic recommendation right now is not to play techs, esp. intel short term. Give it a year or two and demand will steadily increase and once again we will see intel's competition is doing nothing more than fighting for the crumps that were dropped. Much of what was express were opinions or observations, sorry for any offense pundits, and you're welcome for those who found this informative. SG ps. nearly all intel employees in oregon are also stock holders, that tells you something about a company, I bet they're long termers too.
