Can you think of anything to go long here?

My mom is part of this women's stock club where they each need to bring in a pick to each meeting [once a month]. No shorts or options, only longs.

Last meeting they added to their CSCO position and opened a JDSU position to give you an idea where they're coming from.

Gold stocks are out of the question, I don't want them to think my mom is nuts. I can't think of a single stock to be long in any sector besides gold.
