Pravin: AMD (as I'm sure you know) is going to start out using SOI in 0.13u for the Hammer family only. I think the T-bred on 0.13u with low k and a 512 Kb cache will be very competitive with anything Intel has to offer Are you sure that Thoroughbred and Appaloosa won't be on SOI? What are you basing this on? The only comment I remember is from the November Analyst Conference. And it was extremely vague, bordering on completely useless. Oh, and what's going to happen with Fab25? Will it be upgraded anytime soon? -fyo
