Do you not find anything hypocritical about your defense of a cluster of cells
First of all you failed to give a straight answer my simple question. Why is that??? Here it is again for you. "What is the arbitrary point that you would grant the unborn child the right to life? If it is strictly limited to children who have been born, then how do you determine the exact moment at which personhood is bestowed?" Its a pretty simple question,
Are you in favor of partial birth abortion? From your limited answer it would appear you are.
Instead of answering my question, you chose to go into a rant about God. Trying to change the subject again? I'll answer you anyway. Actually, I do not find it hypocritical at all. Since that cluster of cells is a human being from the moment of conception. You are just a cluster of cells yourself and I would defend your right to exist as well.
What amazes me, is that you fail to see your own hypocrisy in allowing, even demanding, for fallen, ignorant and sinful humans, that which you would deny a , perfect, all-knowing and righteous God. The freedom to choose the destiny of His own creation. You are simply unbelievable. Day after day like a broken record, you trot out the same old tired arguments about the supposed injustice, and immorality of the God of the bible because of the slaughter of the Canaanite's. By assuming that some sort of ultimate standard of morality exists in the first place, you undermine your own argument for the non-existence of God. So all you have accomplished is to simply shoot yourself in the foot. You seem confused on this issue. Why won't you hold your own beliefs up to the same standard you demand for God? For instance, WHY, is it alright, for millions of innocent, unborn children to be painfully killed on a whim, simply for the convenience of the parents. You don't really give a damn about those Canaanite's, do you? Not any more than you care about the slaughter of millions of unborn children. Your hatred for God has blinded you to even the simplest logic.
Did the Father you are so devoted to ever mention the specialness of embryonic cell clusters? No, He did not.
He most certainly did. Since you asked, this is from Psalm 139:
For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.
Finally, one more simple question. I know you can handle it. If it is alright to kill a child, five minutes before it is born then why not five minutes after?
