Hi m..3 - we could all chill out a bit. Bulls and bears. Having a strong view that the economy is going to heck in a handbasket and wanting it to go there are two different things. Conventional wisdom is that stocks going up is good for economy, stocks going down is bad. Read this for a new point of view: cepr.net As to childishness issuing a parody of the common phrase "800 lb Gorilla"... Ok, call me a child but I found it briefly amusing. At least we're not where the term "800 microgram gnat" would be appropriate. If we can't find some light amongst the terrible things happening, we are indeed going to be a miserable lot. The world is not ending and the sky is not falling. But there are a lot of people who just aren't as wealthy as they expected to be. John.
