Back up 150 years in this country or 200-250 years in England I would not call the US 150 years ago or England 200-250 years ago, pure capitalism. Seven-year-old children working because it is perfectly legal. Safety? What's that? And we don't worry about suits because we don't pay you enough to afford a lawyer. A combination of poverty with less concern for safety (and perhaps less concern for children) will result in things likes this, pure capitalism or not. I'm not BTW supporting a idealized totally pure capitalism, but I do think that we should come closer to it then we are now. Tim
