I think after a while you can beat a dead horse to death.
From one standpoint...Rambus is still a thorn in Intels side. Intel knows it. Why else would Intel develop Brookdale? DDR may not be a lot better that RDRAM...yet Intel is still trying to get away from it. What's that tell you?
On another hand...the industry will likely forget "somewhat" that Intel had a great part in bringing Rambus' lawsuits down on the industry. Even then, I figure the industry is a lot more skeptical believing Intel when Intel tries to tell them what's good for them or where the roadmap goes, so to speak.
