Beats Me....!

Ask this Guy, he's a Real Expert...!

To me..., massive tax cuts are inflationary and will require higher long-term prices.

To me..., the Government should cut the debt in half and then do tax cuts, or a combination.

To me..., it may be a sign that buyers want higher prices to continue paying off our headache from debt bourbon.

So.., I'm not much help.

"Your other question was about a bear market. I don't think we are in one yet. I was waiting for the INDU to go below 9775 to indicate a second leg down but it never happened. That would have confirmed an economically induced bear market to me. I think the NASDAQ drop is just a release of the excess speculation."

"I think the real problem for the market is a political one now." bearshark

I can find arguments that support a bullish case, at least they are sprinkled around sparingly. The NYSE Adv/Decl line and the number of higher highs are two examples.

There's a chance these markets have simply reached a plateau similar to the big flat area after the boom of the post World War II era that went flat for 7 years±...?
Without looking at the charts, I'd think it was the 60's.

Only good traders made money and the general public was flat to down for years.

So...To me..., one can also find arguments that support such flat/sideways markets..?

NO BEar MArket....!

My Best,

Chip
