OK, well I promised myself I would try not to respond to some of your posts Spirit - but when you blatantly put out false ones, well . . . .
As anyone knows here, you have been pumping SCNT for the last month, ever since you bought it on Jan 17th. Today, you just posted:
"Also bought SCNT today at what I perceive to be the bottom and a severely oversold condition. 170 million cash and 210 million market cap. This and takeover rumors too. Down 30% from last week where I sold my last chunk for a nice profit. "
WHERE YOU SOLD YOUR LAST CHUNK FOR A NICE PROFIT ????????
Please, if you want to delude yourself, fine - but at least be honest with the thread:
here is a post the day after you bought SCNT on Jan 17th
Message 15203395
note you say "It's at $3 now. definitely time to load up. I bought one day early and these buzzards creamed me. Down 30% from my buy. Oh well. It will come back up"
SCNT sold on 1/17 between $3.25 and $4.3125 a share. When it was trading at $3.00 a share on 1/18 according to your own post, you were DOWN 30% - which means you must have bought it around the high of $4.30 on 1/17 ($4.30- (4.3*30%) = 3.00)
Then later that day - you posted:
Message 15204957
where you doubled down on SCNT at $3.00 - so now your average cost on twice as many shares is $3.65
You then made many posts pumping SCNT - including the following 2 examples:
Message 15209616
Where you called it a "This is quadruple my money play (if I can be patient this time) but a quick double short-term."
Message 15216600
Where you say ", if SCNT for instance dropped from 133 to 2 and I bought it at 3 why should I sell at 3 1/2? Nice little gain but there's no reason that puppy can't get back to $8-9 short-term."
Then last week on 2/7, in response to Rande's question about microcap picks - you posted again pushing SCNT:
Message 15316553
Then earlier today - in this post, you say:
Message 15338987
"But SCNT and LU are the obvious buys in my estimation"
No where last week was there ever a post saying you sold your SCNT as you allege in the post I am responding to. This is important particularly since you kept posting about how good a buy it was.
Furthermore, by any mathematical means, there is no way you sold it at "a nice profit".
Here is the Historical quotes on SCNT:
chart.yahoo.com
given your average buy prices , even after "doubling down" of $3.65 - how the hell could you sell your SCNT at a "nice profit" last week when it never sold over your average buy price?????
Not to mention that since you first bought SCNT - it never got back to your initial buy price !!!
Not exactly sure how your math works - but its painfully obvious from your own words you lost money overall. Hey, to give you the benefit of the doubt, maybe you did sell some of the SCNT you had from your $3 buy last week (even when you were telling others to buy it) - but if you sold all your positions which your last post states - that means you earlier took a loss on your shares from $4.30. Either way - overall it adds up to a loss.
So, either you are simply lieing to the thread and/or yourself about you magic profitmaking abilities on SCNT - or you are having a convenient lapse of memory - while at the same time pumping a stock on the thread while you are dumping it. In either case - that's real bush league IMO.
No need to respond or debate this as - your own words already speak volumes
PS - I count 31 posts on SCNT on this thread since your 1/17 buy - all but a couple of which were from you - so if you doubt your own memory - here are all your posts:
