Chic: Yes, Louis the Lip will likely keep the accountants burning the midnight oil again this Q. (g) And you are correct that Louis has been selling off large chunks of the farm.. The sale of the global data network (even as he told the world that the company was going to concentrate on "services") deserves special mention. I love the fact that he then brought that sale into the books via a reduction of SG and A over about 4 quarters. Love to meet the auditor who let that one go by. It wasn't good timing re PCs. IBM lost billions in this arena and was forced to vacate. What the sheep don't seem to notice is that their shareholder equity has been smacked hard as Louis borrows to buy back stock. Personally, I think the guy is a con artist. Best, Earlie
