dave: We should know by mid-March after MU is done dumping it's inventory in time for their earnings CC. I think Intel cuts some of it's $60 rebate in early APR; so I think SDRAM prices will rebound to traditional profitable levels by late APR; early May timeframe. Pick whatever lame excuse you wish for the skyrocketing rebound in SDRAM prices after this surplus is wiped up. Right now RDRAM is $180 for 128 Mb. This is cheaper than EDO and nonEDO fast page DRAM which preceded SDRAM. So if RDRAM and SDRAM achieve the so called 20-30% price differential when SDRAM pricing comes back to economic reality(my guess somewhere between $110-140 per 128 MB for SDRAM; $130-160 for RDRAM), RDRAM will be here to stay. john
