Rambus Infringement Suits against Micron and Hyundai in Germany Delayed
LOS ALTOS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 12, 2001--Rambus Inc. (Nasdaq:RMBS - news), has been informed that the judge in its pending patent infringement cases against Micron and Hyundai in Mannheim, Germany, has requested that this week's hearing focus only on procedural issues associated with these cases. Trial on the substantive issues, originally scheduled for February 16, will be rescheduled by the court.
By raising procedural issues at the last minute, Micron and Hyundai have delayed the inevitable court hearing on patent infringement. Rambus is confident in its patent infringement position and that such last minute delay tactics will not affect the court's ultimate ruling.
