Instead I'd go to the boards and warn people. No one listened. They'd rather hear that they can win lots of money than they could lose money.

That's even harder to take when it's your own relatives you are warning about the fact that they are invested in a scam stock.

Years ago I bought into a stock with the symbol SEXI ... I made a fortune on it because I got in early and I didn't even know then that it was a scam. As soon as I realized what was going on with this company I sold my shares at a huge profit ... I bought a house with the profits and I told my brothers and my parents that they should bail too since they too were sitting on huge profits. No matter how many times I urged them to sell, they just wouldn't. They watched their profits turn into losses and finally complete write offs. I still have my house ... they have memories of a scam and all the warnings they ignored because of their greed. They thought the stock would continue to soar even though it was a scam and the company was under investigation by the SEC and FBI. What can you do?

Lola:)
