Genset also intends to end its gene discovery research programs undertaken for the account of pharmaceutical company partners. Almost all of these programs are either completed or will be in the coming months. ...and then start up new partnerships which will lead to profits in a couple years. ?! Well, I guess you have to expect a few of these worthless press releases with Nature and Science doing their thing, and HGP and Celera in the papers today. Wont do a thing for the shares tomorrow. If they do too many of these goofy press releases, I'm going to start thinking that it is all misdirection, and that they'll be selling out alltogether this year. Isn't Genentech sitting on more than a billion cash? And to any of the real, bloated, multibillion dollar pharmas out there, gobbling up poor little Genset can be done for next to nothing. I have a terrible feeling my GENXY is going to be a lousy two bagger in a year or two, and not a long term ten bagger. I'm sticking with my shares for sure, but do not bother with this sort of thing again Mr. Pernet! Pandering to the market makes you look weak. I hope the rest of my companies issue no PRs this week.
