Mary, I'm probably not telling you anything you aren't aware of but a great percentage of the volume and price movements in BB stocks are made possible through the use of bulk email spam. The origin of most of this can probably be traced back to money (or shares) the companies pay to "consultants". The following URL takes you to a site put up by a guy that was done wrong by one of these spammers. It is very educating. It, in total is too long to read all at once but a good thing to bookmark to read a little at a time. After reading the "start here" part try the intercepted ICQ logs especially the ones which are labeled "pump and dump". cow.org
