In the Richmond District the economic situation is showing signs of reversing the deterioration:

WASHINGTON, Feb 13 (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond said on Tuesday its monthly index of regional manufacturing was -12 in January versus -6 in December.

However, note the wages and prices component. It only slowed a little and now is taking off. This is evidence of the inflation floor the FED with their absurd effort to manipulate interest rates has put in place.
