ild, Not only was the oil shock stronger, but it was a first time shock. Now, when we get an energy crisis, it is bad but it is something that is within our realm of experience. 1973-1974 took the muscle cars out and shot them. Just about the time one of my female cousins had finally been working long enough to save the money to buy a GTO, they stopped making them. I felt sorry for her, but given the speeds at which she drove her LeMan, I wasn't sure the world could handle her behind the wheels of something that could go like a GTO. <g>
