regarding email viruses from friends.... the greatest flaw i see in the thinking that "i won't open attachments unless they are from my friends" is that this is precisely what the latest viruses are designed to do.... they infect a pc, then mail themselves to everyone in the person's address book. so everyone using the above criterion ("do i know the sender?") for judging the safety of an attachment is essentially had bad. jmho :) mark
