RFS Announces Multi-Million Dollar Three-Year Agreement With
DMC Stratex Networks

MERIDEN, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 13, 2001--Radio Frequency Systems (RFS) announced today that it has signed a three-year global supplier agreement with DMC Stratex Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq:STXN) covering an extensive range of antennas for deployment with DMC Stratex Networks' products in mobile and broadband wireless networks throughout the world.

The agreement is estimated to be worth approximately US $10-$15 million annually.

DMC Stratex Networks is a leading global provider of wireless connection solutions for cellular networks and broadband wireless access. These solutions include data, voice and video transmission systems for service providers and mobile network interconnection in current and future-generation wireless networks.

According to Andy Singer, Director of Marketing and Technical Service for RFS in the Americas, RFS will provide DMC Stratex Networks with a full line of microwave and millimeter wave antennas and accessories covering frequencies ranging from 2 GHz to 40 GHz for deployment in mobile network, broadband wireless, and other wireless infrastructure solutions. Additionally, through the partnership, RFS and DMC Stratex Networks will work together to develop industry leading technologies for next-generation microwave and millimeter wave antenna system solutions.
