Ya know what, you can whine all you want about how the Repubs just can't get over bashing Clinton, but the problem is that he continues to give them ammunition--like some addictive sociopath who just can't resist being bad one more time, just to see if he can get away with it again.
Now this Rich thing may actually involve accepting campaign money from a foreign source,someone NOT a US citizen, which is a crime. A huge donation to the library, especially if it was Rich's money routed through his ex-wife's account, would be called a bribe in my book, which is, I imagine, what alot of people would call a "high crime."
On the other hand, Republican hypocrisy is astounding. Ford was the one who set the standard for pardons in this century by letting Nixon off the hook. I don't recall any Republicans getting upset about that one. And Bush Sr. himself used the pardon(Cap Weinberger) to, IMO, coverup his own lies that he was "out of the loop" on Iran-Contra. |
