Believe me, if Oral Tolerance works as a viable commercial technology, and the prior art is as you say, then someone sometime will attempt to challenge the breadth of the patents. I agree with you that in the case of a technology like this that a trade secret isn't the way to go, I was just making a general point to contrast them with patents.
