JDS Uniphase to release new guidance after close SAN FRANCISCO, Feb 13 (Reuters) - JDS Uniphase (Toronto:JDU.TO - news) (NasdaqNM:JDSU - news), the world's top supplier of fiber-optic components, will release new financial guidance after the close of trading Tuesday, the company's chief financial officer said. Anthony Muller, JDS Uniphase chief financial officer, told analysts at a meeting sponsored by Robertson Stephens that he could not comment on financial projections ahead of that statement. On Monday, the company's merger with rival SDL, Inc. (NasdaqNM:SDLI - news) was approved by shareholders of both companies and analysts are expected management to discuss the financial implications of the merger. Shares in JDS Uniphase were down about 3 percent in late trade on Nasdaq to $39-1/2. Subject 50522
