Tench, If you think CSFB is deliberately putting out misleading information then Intel should contest it. Analysts have been known to carry grudges against some companies. I have seen brokerage firms threatened with legal action when companies think the analysts are out of line. At that stage, the brokerage makes a determination to either back their analyst or as a safety precaution, to clear the analyst's future comments by internal litigation attorneys or even outside counsel until the situation cools off.
