You are exactly right. The Naz and many stocks were in bubble territory to say the least. We were doing a re-do on tulip mania. The higher it went, the more violent the crash. As much as this ticks me off, and as much as this hurt because I was stupid for too long, I really think it was needed.

Well, I don't know what a soft landing is

Lets define it like pilots define good landings. Any landing you walk away from is a good one:)

There are still large numbers of stocks that are on sale from their highs but still expensive historically. Your Naz targets may not be far off unfortunately. I don't see us supporting 100+ p/e's for any company any time soon, if not forever. There still are a lot of them left.

I have quit drinking....beer. Nothing but straight booze for this guy:) As to drinking heavily, I am still trying to define that. Do we use ounces or pounds for this question?
