Canada has sanctions against Brazil beef exports coming into the country. The truth is Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier is angry that Brazil is subsidizing Brazil manufactured planes and winning contracts ahead of Bombardier. So the politically hip exec's at Bombardier ordered some pay back in the form of sanctions, and worse lies. How sad for Canada. We basically designed the U.S. space shuttle before non compus mentus Diefenbaker torched it and now we can't even compete with Brazil for the low end market. I've ate beef in both places, Brazil is superior by far. nationalpost.com
