Xicor, Inc. Adds Industry Veteran Emmanuel T. Hernandez to Board of Directors
MILPITAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 13, 2001--Xicor, Inc. (NASDAQ/NMS:XICO - news), a leading fabless manufacturer of programmable mixed-signal integrated circuits, today announced the appointment of Emmanuel T. Hernandez (age 44) to the Company's Board of Directors.
Mr. Hernandez has served since 1994 as vice president of finance and chief financial officer at Cypress Semiconductor, where he previously held the position of corporate controller. He is responsible for Cypress' worldwide financial reporting, investor relations, human resources, and information technology. Prior to joining Cypress, Mr. Hernandez worked at National Semiconductor from 1976-1993. While at National, he held a variety of finance positions, culminating with his appointment to director of corporate accounting.
Mr. Hernandez graduated with a B.S.C. in accounting from the University of Nueva Caceres in the Philippines, received his C.P.A license from the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants and earned his M.B.A in Finance from Golden Gate University.
