I feel that energy is the one thing to take seriously as dangerously multiplying a normal business slump, but is the energy situation really similar today to 1974? Then it was OPEC policy and affected the entire country, but what is taking place in California is kind of an artificial situation caused by political stupidity there, it isn't country wide.
