Please report how consistent the signal strength is .... Will do. I travel on a lot of tree covered streets in New England, some open road, and an occasional trip into Boston. So far, so good. Edit: The antenna for the 1410 car kit, which I have, has a relative strength of 0.8 (ohm units?), vs a 2 rating for the other G* car kit. So, that can made a difference. But, as I said, so far so good with the less powerful model.
