While I appreciate your good thoughts for the future of South Africa, especially now that Uncle Bill has set his feet on South African soil, one has only to look at the rest of Africa to see what the future for South Africa is likely to be. Whatever the reason for this, the facts speak for themselves. Only recently, white citizens of Zimbabwe have been effectively purged, clearly in an act of "ethnic cleansing" as bad as was seen in Bosnia. The country is virtually in a state of revolution. This was clearly the act of President Mugabe tacitly aided and abetted by President Mbeki of South Africa.

In SA, in the name of democracy, the ANC clique has effectively established a racist, quasi-dictatorship whose sole intention is the advancement of the black elite at the expense of everyone else, locals and foreigners alike. No-one should forget that the many/most of the ANC are dyed-in-the-wood communists, many of whom have received indoctrination and military training in the old Soviet Union.

Further, I think you should realize that today gold is a very small component of SA national product and, although an increase in the gold price would be welcomed, it will do very little to alter the destiny of the country.
