Bob, This thread is filled with bearish(short term) bulls(long term). I am just not sure it gets much worse. If your dealership and my financial service/tech sales are already picking up we may be anticipating an extra quarter of bad news that wont in fact materialize which could mean the turn comes now with a lack of response to amat projections plus a rate cut. We shall see what happens in the coming days. Also I agree with you 100% that the election turned an orderly nasdaq decline into a debacle and what would have been an fair christmas season into a bad one. So rather than pick on bush, greenspan or clinton, maybe we should call this the GORE recession. It would serve him right to be the only loser tarred with this brush. Mike
