Affordable Telecommunications Signs Letter of Intent to Acquire Zmail Media

(OTC Bulletin Board: ATTP) today announced it has signed a letter of intent to acquire Zmail Media, Inc., a leading provider of Interactive Public Access Terminals (iPATs). Zmail Media is a Houston-based, privately-held company that empowers communities and individuals with Interactive Public Access Terminals (iPATs) known as Zstations. The Company offers iPAT terminals and branded Zstations that utilize high-speed Internet connections. Through Zstations, consumers can conduct numerous online activities, such as checking e-mail, browsing the Internet, conducting e-commerce transactions, and printing documents. Unlike existing public access devices, the Zstation is a versatile digital multimedia center that allows consumers to access the Internet and replaces the need for cell phones and personal digital assistants (PDAs). According to the letter of intent, Affordable will acquire all the outstanding common stock of Zmail Media. Zmail will retain all of its executive officers and operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Affordable. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
