Mr Snake Eyes,
I have proclaimed my allegiance to India of which I am currently a citizen. Anything wrong with that? I am a permanent resident of USA and I do plan to become American Citizen. Do question my allegiance at that time. In case of conflict between US and India, my allegiance will be put to ultimate test and that will be the time I will decide one way or the other. Better yet, I will use my dual background to promote peace between the two countries (in whatever small way I can). But I do not see the conflict happening anytime.
I have never sought handouts. I came for higher education in this country and spent my Indian Rupees to attain the education. It is ridiculous for you to suggest that I came here to take advantages of wealth and freedoms. I have taken advantages of the opportunities that this country had to offer me as an immigrant and so far I have put to good use the freedoms that you talk about. Kindly desist from misinformation about me or my views.
BTW: Coming from a country that cherishes democracy and it's institutions, freedom is not entirely a strange concept. I just wish institutions were more robust.

I don't have a problem with immigrants....I have a problem with immigrants that come to this country to take advantage of the opportunities and Government handouts only to have their allegiance pledged to the country from which they came..... Mr. Boyapati is one that has proclaimed his allegiance to India while coming to America to get educated (no doubt with U.S. assistance) and to take advantage of our freedoms and wealth.....You don't have a problem with that?
