Cr did you read the same article I posted

NEW YORK -- Market maturity for network computers will take more than two years to achieve, but ultimately could mean more than $20 billion in efficiency savings that will be re-invested in other products, the head of IBM Corp.'s NC division said.
It won't be one to two [years], but it won't be five to 10."

I think this means NC in general and what savings will other companies achive? Can you tell me the future.

MS cult people are really up in arms about the NC. This reminds me of when Windows first came out how I felt. I just hated to change. But all the MS FUD MS can't stop consumers buying what they want. The proofs in the pudding time will tell.

And Pierre's post

hit the nail on the head. Corel is in a very desirable position. They are not force to support any one OS because they have no vest interest in the OS.
But like I keep saying MS is working on JAVA they haven't figured out how to monopolize it. When they do, expect their release of Java products. I think they realize NC is a very big threat. Look at the money they will be spending this year.
