Inventories built up at U.S. businesses at their slowest pace in a year in December, a sign that companies are adjusting well to the slowdown in sales. Inventories of unsold goods rose by 0.1 percent in December, matching the 0.1 percent rise in their sales, the Commerce Department said Wednesday.
Less reason for the FED to do an intrameeting rate cut.
